Cruz Not Considering Obama's Supreme Court Nominee

In light of the sudden death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, discussion on his successor is a hot topic. Republican Presidential Candidate, Ted Cruz, shared his opinion with NBC's "Meet the Press." Cruz believes that the Senate is not remotely obligated to consider President Barack Obama's Supreme Court nominee. He said, "The Senate is advising right now. We're advising that a lame-duck president in an election year is not going to be able to tip the balance of the Supreme Court."
